Description
Position Overview: The Call Time Manager plays a pivotal role in the fundraising operations of a gubernatorial campaign. Working closely with the candidate and the finance team, this position ensures that call time sessions are meticulously organized, executed efficiently, and followed up diligently to maximize donor engagement and contributions. This staffer will also be responsible for driving and staffing the candidate at events.
Key Responsibilities
- Call Time Coordination: Collaborate with the Finance Director to schedule and prioritize call time sessions, ensuring alignment with fundraising goals and the candidate's availability.
- Call Sheet Preparation: Develop comprehensive call sheets by researching potential donors, including their giving history and contact information, to facilitate productive conversations.
- Staffing and Support: Accompany the candidate during call time sessions and on trips throughout the state, providing necessary support, taking detailed notes, and managing time to ensure optimal productivity
- Data Management: Utilize campaign finance software (e.g., NGPVAN, ActBlue, Numero) to log call outcomes, update donor information, and track progress towards fundraising targets.
- Follow-Up Actions: Ensure timely follow-up with donors post-call, including sending thank-you notes, pledge reminders, and additional information as needed.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on call time activities, donor engagement, and fundraising progress to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing and staffing fundraising events, including donor cultivation events and fundraising receptions.
- Candidate Support: Staff the candidate for one on one call time and for fundraising events.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other campaign staff to ensure cohesive fundraising efforts and campaign success.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite including Excel and Google spreadsheets
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with donors and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Ethic: Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet campaign needs.
- Transportation: Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fundraising Experience: Experience in political fundraising, particularly in a gubernatorial campaign setting.
- Coaching Experience: Experience in coaching a plus.
- Technical Experience: Experience with donor management software such as NGPVAN, ActBlue and Numero.
- Event Coordination: Background in organizing and executing fundraising events.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze donor data to identify trends and opportunities for increased contributions.
- Maine Experience: Familiarity with Maine politics and donors is a bonus
