Title: Chief Advancement Officer
Department: Advancement
Reports to: Head of School
Annual Salary Range: $135,000 - $185,000, commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
Xaverian is an independent Catholic school for boys in grades 7-12, sponsored by the Xaverian
Brothers. Located in Westwood, Massachusetts, this college-prep school welcomes students
from approximately 80 communities across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Xaverian was
established in 1963 and presently enrolls over 980 students.

General Expectations: Xaverian is seeking applications for a full-time Chief Advancement
Officer. The Chief Advancement Officer should be a mission-centered, relationship-driven leader
who combines strategic vision with a hands-on, team-oriented approach. The ideal candidate
will embody humility, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to advancing the mission
of Xaverian in order to support our students and sustain a legacy of Catholic, Xaverian
education for generations to come.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Deep understanding and belief of the Xaverian mission, culture, and servant leadership.
- Proven fundraising leader with a track record of success and demonstrated results with
major gifts, annual fund growth, and fundraising events.
- Experience managing complex fundraising campaigns, preferably with experience
cultivating, soliciting, and securing seven- and eight-figure commitments.
- Strategic thinker with vision and the operational ability to execute the day-to-day
advancement functions, campaign planning, donor management, and brand alignment.
- Team-oriented and collaborative individual, with the ability to lead, inspire, and partner
effectively with advancement colleagues, administrators, and cross-divisional teams.
- Ability to build, cultivate, and sustain enduring, authentic relationships with donors,
alumni, faculty, staff, students, and parents.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
