Description
Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) is seeking a strategic and mission-driven fundraising professional to join our Development and Communications team. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in generating significant annual revenue to support our mission: providing what abused and neglected children in Dallas County urgently need today to thrive tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities
Grants Management
Lead all internal grant writing efforts, including research, proposal development, site visits and reporting
Manage and collaborate with our third-party grant writer to ensure consistency, quality and timeliness
Individual Giving Programs
Launch and oversee a new monthly/subscription giving program to deepen donor engagement
Strategize and execute the end-of-year giving campaign to drive donor retention and acquisition
Additional Duties
Collaborate across the Development and Communications team to amplify fundraising efforts
Contribute to donor communications, stewardship strategies and campaign planning/execution
Support special projects that enhance CPD’s visibility and impact
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a highly skilled professional who brings:
- Strategic thinking and exceptional writing skills with a gift for storytelling that inspires philanthropic action
- Strong communication abilities and proven success in nonprofit grant writing and reporting - this is a required qualification
- Deep knowledge, experience and a professional network within the Dallas-area grantmaking landscape
- Expertise in donor engagement and fundraising strategies including annual giving campaigns and solicitations
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute innovative ideas
- A collaborative and proactive mindset thriving in a purpose-driven environment and committed to advancing CPD’s mission
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
