Description
Threshold Group is seeking a senior-level fundraising professional to lead day-to-day development efforts across a portfolio of Democratic campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. This role will play a central part in shaping and executing fundraising strategies, managing multiple clients, and contributing to business development and growth initiatives for Threshold Group.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Leading the development and execution of fundraising strategies for individual clients and campaigns.
- Managing day-to-day fundraising efforts for multiple candidates.
- Collaborating closely with candidates during call time, providing coaching, preparation, and follow-up.
- Cultivating and soliciting donors directly, including high-dollar prospects.
- Overseeing and maintaining accurate and organized donor databases and fundraising pipelines (NGP, ActBlue, Numero, etc.).
- Drafting compelling fundraising copy, including call scripts, event invitations, follow-up emails, and digital content.
- Contributing to the firm’s business development and client retention by identifying opportunities for growth.
- Supervising junior fundraising staff and consultants, delegating responsibilities, and providing mentorship and feedback.
Salary range is $7,500 - $9,500 per month depending on your experience level, and includes health insurance and a 401(k). The position is in-person at our office in midtown Manhattan. Please email your resume to jobs@thresholdgrp.com with the subject line “Director Position”.
Requirements
Qualifications for this role are:
- At least three cycles of campaign fundraising experience, including significant responsibility for fundraising strategy and execution.
- Proven experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing fundraising plans that meet or exceed goals.
- Proficiency with fundraising platforms such as NGP, ActBlue, and Numero.
- Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially in donor-facing contexts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with long hours when needed.
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on execution.
- Availability to travel as needed for events, meetings, and client support.
