Position Summary
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Billing executive to handle the day-to-day billing operations for the US-based Information Services Division of the London Stock Exchange Group. This role ensures compliance with established processes and policies while meeting functional and interpersonal objectives, targets, and deadlines. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and client happiness within a fast-paced global environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze client service usage reports based on client declarations.
- Set up new business contracts in RMB and Oracle systems.
- Process new and recurring invoices on a monthly basis with accuracy and timeliness.
- Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive accounting backups and records for audit readiness.
- Address internal and external client disputes and queries authoritatively.
- Build and handle strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Finance Operations, Master Data Team, Sales, and Sales Operations.
- Support wider finance teams during high-volume periods or complex resolutions to ensure KPI targets and reporting deadlines are met.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and respond to requests from Group or local finance teams as required.
- Continuously assess and challenge current processes to identify innovative solutions and drive process improvements.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A relevant degree or professional qualification (or actively pursuing one).
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing within a large organization (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- A responsible attitude with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work seamlessly with US-based teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills aligned with business needs.
- Desired: Experience with Oracle systems.
