Description
Kishla Askins’ congressional campaign is seeking a full-time Finance Director to direct, grow, and improve the fundraising program for one of the most competitive races in the country. Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District is the only open Republican-held seat in a Harris-won district and a top pick up opportunity this cycle. Kishla Askins is a 30-year Navy Veteran and health care professional, who has dedicated her life to public service.
The Finance Director will report to the Campaign Manager and work closely with the candidate to ensure the success of the fundraising operation.
Salary: Commensurate with experience ($6,000 - $8,000)
Specific responsibilities include:
- Create and execute a robust finance plan, including call time, local and national events, bundlers, and direct mail giving.
- Execute events from start to finish, including working with event hosts and bundlers to reach fundraising goals, managing event logistics, and staffing the candidate.
- Ensure a successful call time program, including preparation of call sheets, call time staffing, donor follow up, and donor research.
- Collaborate with the Campaign Manager to grow the donor universe, including prospecting new donors and cultivating and growing existing relationships.
- Manage all finance staff and interns.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and CallTime.AI.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
A valid US driver’s license, and access to reliable, insured transportation.
The Finance Director must be willing to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska.
