Scott Colom for Senate is seeking a Finance Associate for the 2026 campaign cycle to assist in our fundraising and outreach program. This is a full time, paid position, perfect for someone starting their career or wanting to learn more about Democratic campaigns and fundraising.
Location: Hybrid remote in Columbus, Mississippi
Job Description:
The Scott Colom for US Senate campaign is looking to hire a full-time Finance Associate. The campaign is seeking hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join its team through November 2026. This is an at-will position tied to the duration of the campaign.
Responsibilities:
Work with the finance team to meet fundraising goals.
Plan, develop, and execute multiple in-state and national fundraising events.
Conduct donor research to identify and analyze new prospective donors
Manage the call time process, including organizing prospects in Pingdex, coordinating staffing for the candidate, documenting key takeaways from donor engagement, leading donor follow-up, and maintaining accurate pledge tracking and reporting
Conduct data maintenance projects
Support and coordinate Call Time
Compensation: Starting salary $4,000/mo, commensurate with experience. Benefits included.

Requirements
Qualifications:
1-2 years campaign finance experience preferred
Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills when reaching donors by phone, text, and email.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to work in fast paced environments
Access to a car (and a valid driver's license), cell phone, and a laptop. Some in-state travel may be required.
Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
Proficiency with Google Suite, NGP, Canva and Pingdex preferred
