Role Overview
The RFP & Presentations Manager will lead the firm's global response and pitch process, overseeing the creation of high-quality RFPs, DDQs, investor presentations, and related marketing materials. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep investment management knowledge, ideally including private equity experience, and proven capability managing a team of writers and designers in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
You will work closely with teams across Investor Relations, Investment, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing to ensure that all materials accurately reflect the firm's capabilities, philosophy, and performance, while maintaining brand and regulatory consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor a team of 3 RFP writers and 2 presentations specialists based in London.
- Oversee workload allocation, quality control, and professional development across the team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on accuracy, clarity, and responsiveness.
- Lead the firm's end-to-end RFP and DDQ process for institutional investors.
- Develop and refine core content, ensuring consistency and alignment with the firm's messaging and positioning.
- Maintain and evolve the firm's RFP content library, implementing best practices for version control and efficiency.
- Partner with Investor Relations and Compliance to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses.
- Oversee the production of investor and fundraising presentations, pitch decks, and capability materials.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate complex investment concepts into compelling, visual storytelling.
- Ensure all materials are consistent with brand guidelines and investment messaging.
- Implement tools, templates, and processes to enhance team efficiency and scalability.
- Track metrics related to RFP volume, turnaround times, and win rates to inform strategic improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry standards and competitor practices to ensure best-in-class documentation.
Essential:
- 10+ years experience in RFP, marketing communications, or client documentation within investment management; private equity experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams in a high-performing environment.
- Deep understanding of institutional investor requirements, due diligence processes, and fundraising documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong project management, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid office environment (3-4 days per week onsite).
- Experience using RFP management tools or databases (Loopio preferred)
- Familiarity with design software (e.g. PowerPoint) and brand management principles.
- Degree in finance, economics, communications, or related field.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate across senior levels.
