Description

A New York based fundraising firm is looking to hire a Junior Finance Associate for the 2026 cycle. This role will be responsible for working day-to-day on the fundraising for candidates running throughout Long Island.

Start Date: February 1

Salary: $4,000-$5,500 per month

This is a hybrid position requiring 3–4 days per week in person on Long Island

Responsibilities for this role will include:

• Managing day-to-day fundraising efforts for candidate
• Working with candidate in call time
• Staffing fundraising events and meetings for candidate
• Facilitate fundraising solicitations and pledge follow-ups
• Drafting copy and event invitations
• Maintain accurate donor records and financial data in campaign database
• Manage the donor acknowledgment and thank-you program
• Prepare briefing memos and fundraising materials
• Assist with other campaign finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Preference for candidates with prior fundraising experience and proficiency with NGP/ActBlue/Numero
• Basic understanding of campaign finance laws and compliance
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and task-oriented
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
