Transition Resource Action Center (TRAC) program is dedicated to empowering young people as they transition into independence. Position Summary:
The Manager of Fundraising and Engagement supports TRAC’s mission by coordinating individual and community-based fundraising activities, donor engagement initiatives, and volunteer involvement. Reporting to the Director of Development, this role is responsible for managing TRAC’s annual giving and sustainers programs, maintaining fundraising data and systems, supporting in-kind donation efforts, and planning special events. The Manager also assists with select donor communications, including newsletters and social media content, to strengthen relationships with supporters and increase TRAC’s visibility in the community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Donor Engagement
- Build and manage TRAC’s annual giving and sustainers program, including appeals, recurring donor outreach, “make it monthly campaigns”, and stewardship.
- Manage solicitation, tracking, and acknowledgment of in-kind donations.
- Maintain accurate donor records, acknowledgments, and giving histories within the donor management system.
- Generate data reports and donor insights to inform strategy and track progress toward fundraising goals.
- Coordinate donor recognition activities and communications, ensuring timely and meaningful follow-up.
Volunteer Engagement
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers for fundraising and youth-centered events.
- Coordinate volunteer assignments and ensure volunteers have positive, mission-aligned experiences.
- Partner with the Director of Housing and Director of Transition Programs to identify opportunities that deepen volunteer involvement with TRAC’s mission.
Special Events
- Plan and execute TRAC’s fundraising events, including donor receptions, campaign launches, and annual benefits.
- Coordinate event logistics such as venues, vendors, registration, and on-site management.
- Support sponsorship efforts by helping identify prospects, track commitments, and ensure recognition.
- Track event revenue and expenses and evaluate outcomes to inform future events.
Data and Systems Management
- Maintain and update TRAC’s donor database to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Produce reports and dashboards to track revenue, donor retention, and campaign performance.
- Uphold data hygiene standards and support integration between donor systems and communications platforms.
Communications Support
- Collaborate with the Director of Development on donor newsletters, thank-you letters, and event promotions.
- Contribute to TRAC’s social media content, highlighting donor impact, volunteer stories, and community events.
- Ensure all communications reflect TRAC’s mission, values, and brand voice.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising and a similar role.
