Role Summary
The Senior Associate, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion supports the delivery of the organisation's EDI strategy through coordination of programmes, employee networks, events, communications and reporting. The role works across multiple business divisions, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered consistently and aligned to regional UK and EMEA priorities. Success in this role requires strong organisation, stakeholder management, attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivering inclusive, high-quality initiatives that drive engagement and cultural impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver EDI events and initiatives, including awareness campaigns, workshops, panels, leadership sessions and priority activities, while managing all related logistics, scheduling, suppliers, accessibility needs, materials, communications and evaluations.
- Maintain and manage the annual EDI events calendar, provide operational support to employee inclusion networks, and assist network leads with governance, planning, budgets, engagement strategies and event delivery.
- Monitor network activity and participation to support reporting, continuous improvement and alignment with broader EDI goals across business divisions in partnership with HR and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the UK and EMEA EDI strategy through project coordination, engagement activities, governance updates, and preparation of materials, briefings and updates for leadership and regional steering groups.
- Draft and coordinate EDI communications-including intranet updates, newsletters, campaign messaging and event promotions-while maintaining accurate and accessible EDI resources on internal platforms.
- Support collection, maintenance and reporting of EDI data, workforce metrics and programme information, managing trackers, reporting packs and insight summaries for leadership and regional stakeholders.
- Manage EDI programme budgets, including invoice and purchase-order processing, expenditure tracking, supplier liaison and coordination with Finance.
- Maintain programme documentation and support the coordination of training sessions, partnerships and wider inclusion initiatives.
- Experience supporting EDI, HR, People or organisational culture initiatives
- Proven experience coordinating programmes or events in a corporate environment
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple teams, divisions or regions
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience managing relationships with external vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting employee networks, committees or engagement managing budgets, invoices or financial administration
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality operational work
- Experience working directly within an EDI or people function
- Familiarity with inclusive and accessible event practices
- Experience using HR systems, reporting tools or intranet platforms
- Understanding of EDI metrics, reporting or regulatory considerations
- Experience supporting UK/EMEA initiatives
