Montana Nonprofit Association (MNA) is grounded in the belief that Montana's vitality and livability depend on a thriving nonprofit sector. We are creating a future where nonprofits have the resources needed to fulfill their missions, are strategically connected with partners in and outside the nonprofit community, and are recognized and celebrated for their contributions to society. MNA promotes a strong nonprofit sector in Montana through advocacy, affordable products and services, organizational development, research and information sharing, and network development. MNA provides training and education to develop the capacity of Montana nonprofits to fulfill their missions, operating effectively and efficiently and incorporating best practices. MNA’s member organizations are from all corners of Montana, and range in size from all-volunteer organizations to some of Montana’s largest employers. With more than 700 nonprofit member organizations, MNA is the recognized leader and voice of Montana’s charitable nonprofit sector.

Company History

MNA was founded in 2001 by a coalition of Montana nonprofit leaders who saw a need for concentrated resource sharing and leadership for Montana's charitable sector. Through our 25 years of operation and organization-wide dedication to excellence, MNA has grown to be a recognized and respected partner for Montana nonprofits, as well as a recognized leader among national nonprofit coalitions.
