Company Overview
SPIN creates STEM opportunities for communities of color through high quality programming that engages families, uplifts communities, and empowers students. King County is a STEM rich economy, yet South King County faces significant gaps in STEM jobs, training, and education. This area is home to many of our region’s most diverse communities and is at the highest risk of displacement. It is also SPIN’s home base and primary focus, although we serve students in multiple school districts across King County. We are committed to expanding equitable access to opportunity and increasing diversity in the STEM field through community led education and training.
Company History
At STEM Paths Innovation Network, we are committed to closing the opportunity gap in STEM education and careers for girls and BIPOC communities. Through hands-on enrichment, mentoring, and culturally responsive curricula, we create safe, inspiring spaces where students thrive, and adults guide their learning. All of our programs are free to the families we serve, and we need community leaders, members, and businesses to help keep them accessible and strong.
