Description

This position will report to the Managing Director in HK Office and work closely with both offshore and onshore investor relations teams. Longqi is one of China's first quantitative investment managers with the widest array of product suite. It is an unique opportunity to learn the quantitative investment in China A shares and grow together with the firm and the market. Specific responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:

Capital Raising

1. Identify and engage new prospects such as family offices, institutions, corporates, fund distributors, advisors, Ultra HNWs
2. Coordinate closely with IR leadership on fundraising strategy and investor targeting
3. Assist in on-boarding new investors and managing ongoing subscription and redemption activity

Investor Relationship Management

1. Serve as a point of contact for existing investors, consultants, and prospective allocators
2. Lead and participate in investor meetings, due diligence sessions, Hangzhou headquarter site visit, and ongoing relationship management
3. Maintain and update CRM, track all engagement activities, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership
4. Participate in the hedge fund community events to promote our brand and products
5. Provide feedback to internal teams based on investor perspectives and market intelligence

Investor Reporting & Messaging

1. Prepare investor materials including pitchbooks, due diligence documents, fund updates, and monthly newsletters
2. Handle ad hoc investor requests

This position will provide the opportunity for:

1. An in-depth education of the quantitative investment strategies, and the application of latest A.I. to investment
2. A high level of exposure to major foreign and Chinese prime brokers, including attending their investment strategy meetings and capital introduction events in the region
3. An opportunity to promote China quantitative investment strategy to global investors

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. 2-5 years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales within asset management, fund distribution, or hedge fund platforms in Asia
2. Proven fundraising track record with measurable AUM contributions
3. Possess a HK working VISA
4. Currently a HKSFC Type 1 / 4 / 9 license holder
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
6. It is a prerequisite to be fluent in English and Mandarin
