Description

You will be responsible for identifying, originating, and cultivating new investor relationships across key Asian markets, leveraging both your existing network and proactive outreach. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firm's regional fundraising strategy, working closely with senior leadership to position the firm effectively in front of sophisticated allocators. This role is ideal for you if you are a highly commercial, relationship-driven professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead capital raising efforts across Asia, targeting single and multi-family offices, smaller endowments, and pension funds, asset managers, private banks, and wealth platforms
2. Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan aligned with fund cycles and firm growth objectives
3. Build, maintain, and deepen long-term investor relationships across key Asian markets
4. Drive the full fundraising lifecycle, including investor sourcing and qualification, pitching and closing and onboarding
5. Collaborate with investment and senior leadership team to articulate investment strategy and performance
6. Stay informed on market trends, investor appetite, and competitor positioning

Qualifications

1. Over 8 years of experience in investor relations / capital raising / placement
2. Proven track record of raising capital from family offices and/or smaller institutional investors in Asia
3. Strong existing network across family offices
4. Deep understanding of private equity fund structures and investment strategies
5. Exceptional communication, pitching, and relationship-building skills
6. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
7. Fluency in English required; Mandarin or other Asian languages is a strong advantage
